MMMuffins

The other day I bought some mini muffin tins and I had promised Bethany that we would make muffins ever since. So today was muffin day. We made blueberry bran muffins and they are delicious! Baking with her is so much fun. She really loves it. I have only baked with her a couple of times but I want to do it more often. I am thinking of trying to make her (and myself) matching aprons for Christmas. We'll see.

I am getting mastitis. It isn't pleasant. I went to the doc and she gave me some antibiotics to take but I haven't taken them yet because I need to take them 3 times a day and on an empty stomach.....yeah not an easy thing to do. Anyway, they should help. I'll be glad when it is gone because it makes breastfeeding uncomfy to say the least.

Andrew got a promotion at work AND a pay raise! I am so, so SO happy for him! Work has been tough for him the past couple of years with so many changes in management and co-workers and things that he has to do. I could see that he was very frustrated and it was difficult for him to stay positive. He has a supervisor now though who is a real "people person" and has actually taken the time to get to know Andrew and observed him and is happy with his performance and recommended that he be promoted. Hooray! Andrew is so shy about showing how happy and excited he is but I could tell that he felt good about himself when he told me.

This is a blessing for us in so many ways. We do still want to move to Australia next year some time (more likely in the latter half of the year - so Andrew can finish school faster) but his promotion will allow us to save more money to do so. And, he will get more experience in his field of work and it will help us pay off some little debts that we have AND it puts a little bit of pressure off the finances if you know what I mean. Yay for Andrew! This news has been an answer to some of my prayers. Heavenly Father really does listen to our prayers.

By the way, I am finding it difficult to find pants for Jeremy that will fit him properly around the waist. What's with all of the "wide waisted" pants here? Not every baby is chubby! It is so annoying! I had to same problem with Bethany. Jeepers CReepers!
