Spring

I woke up to a beautiful sunny day! I slept for a long, long time though. I have been so, so tired though for so long. Mentally tired really. I had a week off and I still feel stretched so thin. It is tough to be working and doing school at the same time...really tough. If you don't have to do it, don't.

Anyways the sunshine today brightened my spirits and I felt compelled to wear a t-shirt and skirt and sandals to church! Later on when I was working on one of my assignments I heard someone mowing a lawn smelled the first "cut grass" of the year! It was so clean and pure and natural and refreshing! I love this time of the year when things are green and the sun is starting to come out. The clouds were like fluffy marshmallows and it made me wish that I could have spent more time outside today. Sigh...at least I could feel the fresh air through the window.

I feel relieved because I was worried about what to do with the kitties while Laura and I are away for Easter weekend, but then a solution came into my head late last night and I asked Joana today if she wouldn't mind cat-sitting since her family is all here and she doesn't live too far away and she agreed to do it! Yay! I'm so glad because she likes cats and is so gentle and trustworthy and I'm just glad that she is able to do it.

Well, not much exciting has happened to me in the past couple of days....not since coming back from the Steaks. It was Randy's BD yesterday and we went to Saffron and it was pretty tasty I must admit. I ate light though so that I wouldn't suffer later (my stomach can be really sensitive at times) and was glad to do so. Then Heather and Laura and I went to the RELAX THE BACK store so that I could get a support for in my car. I pretty much knew what I wanted to I had a lady find me the right support etc. One of the salesmen though insisted that Laura and Heather sit in these chairs which tilt back really far so that your feet stick up in the air. They sat their talking until I was finished. They looked mighty comfy I must say. Anyways when I walked over to them the same guy insisted that I try one of the chairs too, however I didn't really get the full benefit because we all wanted to leave and the guy was putting on the charm to try and get me to buy one. They are liked $2400 each! AS Heather said (later), "do any of us really look like we could afford a $2400 dollar chair?" Go figure.

Last night we had cake at Heather's for Randy's birthday and I left early to vaccum and work on my assignment. I have been doing school work for most of this weekend but I got two of my assignments completed and handed in. Only three more to go for that ECE course and then I'll be done. Phew. Then me and Jesse have to bust a move and go hard with World Builders because we are soooooo behind on it! Yikes!
