long time - no post

I know, I know.It has been almost a month since I last posted on here. I've been busy and that's all there is to it. This is a crazy time of the year! I've had International Day and then Report Cards and then Parent Teacher Interviews and now we have the Christmas concert to prepare for. I'll be glad to be on holidays in the next couple of weeks! Three weeks off = bliss!

So what is new you may wonder? Well, first of all I'm really poor right now. Ok, I'm not out on the street and I have clothes so I can't say I am in dire straights, but I have very little moola right now and I don't get paid until this Friday. I can't afford to buy groceries so its been slim pickings in the food department. I could have gone to FHE tonight and had pizza, but I wanted some time to myself and there is this guy there who is a real chatterbox and I just wasn't into being there and hearing him the whole time. Sometimes I just need a brain break.

I signed up for the Canadian Cancer's Relay for Life again this year. I started a team and called it The Galloping Geese. The name was Laura's idea and so i went for it. Laura said that she will be on the team and so is Laine and mom and my friend Amber is "in" to it too. I want to try and get lots of people on my team so that we can raise more money and also so that we don't have to walk as much. I'm starting early this year too so that I can start fundraising. It's for a good cause, it really is.

Good to hear from you again, Leash. Was report card writing a marathon for you? How were your parent/teacher interviews? Ours were last week on Wednesday from 4-7. I only had 5 parents show up. Not much fun for me.

Report card writing WAS a marathon, definitely! I am still exhausted over all of it. All of my parents showed for the p/t interviews and they actually went pretty well. I am glad that they are over though.

How are you feeling these days with baby and all? I've been thinking about you. We live so close - we should definitely make a plan to get together and catch up soon. Seriously!
