12 Years

Just so you know, the other day - April 11 - was my 12 year anniversary of joining the church. Really. I have been a member for 12 years now. That seems like such a long time but in other ways it doesn't seem like it has been that long at all. How ironic that I joined the church here in New Zealand and now I am here again...living with my husband and 13 months old daughter. It is funny how things happen in your life. Sometimes I think of all of things that happened that made it possible for me to meet the right people and learn about the church and be baptized....it is all quite miraculous when I think about it. Anyway, I am grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am grateful for my friends and family and the many blessings that my membership has brought me. Life is good.
