pics!

It's been a little while since I have written.... I have had a lot to write about but I just haven't had the time. It will all come in increments I'm afraid. So here is a start. First of all, check out some of my previous posts because there are now some that contain pics.

Second, here is a recent picture of Izzy......isn't she cute? She is getting more "brushes" of orange in her which makes her look even more pretty! She looks like such a girl with her small body and dainty feet and she sure knows who her momma is! Speaking of felines, Izzy is sitting on my lap right now (wanting attention and enjoying it) and Archie just hopped
up on the desk and plunked himself down also wanting some attention - the poor kitties, they sure miss us when we are gone so long in the day and poor Archie sure misses Laura.

Here is another picture of Izzy taking it easy. Being a cat is such a hard life!!!

Here are some pics from my trip to the island last weekend.

Hielke and June were out here visiting along with Rachelle and her boyfriend Alex. We all had BBQ dinner at Oma's on both nights (them and Oma and Simon, Jackie, Mom, Eman and I) and chit chatted and caught up. I rarely ever get to see Helk and June and when I do it is so brief....this was another brief time...it was better than nothing though. Hielke looks better than he did last October and has short white hair...it suits him. The view from Oma's balcony was as beautiful as ever......

I hung out with Eman and Mom a bit too. we went to Coombs and looked around a bit and had an ice cream. It was fun to look in the market and see all of the changes and merchandise here. They had some neat things. All that I bought though was the ice cream for me and Eman and some H20 and some Halva for mom because she likes it. Oh yeah, I lost my sunglasses there too - I left them in the bathroom and then they were gone.....my last pair (which meant that I needed to go and buy a new pair at London Drugs this week - fortunately they were 70% off so I got a similiar pair for a little over $5! Now that was a deal!)

Some kids were climbing on to a balastrade and reaching up and feeding grass to the goats on the roof...not a smart plan if you ask me...it's all fun and games until the goat decides to take a chunk out of your mitt if you know what I mean!
