I've been here in NZ for almost a week now, but it seems much longer. I'll admit, even though it is new and exciting to be here....the truth is that I have been having a hard time so far with feeling sad and missing my family and friends back home (you know who you are!). I miss Izzy and Archie too and I feel sad that Izzy is so needy...BUT I am grateful that Edith is giving her a lot of lovin' because Izzy needs that and I am sure that this helps her. I just hope that in her furry, "meat-necked" (thanks for the description Edith!) little mind she doesn't think that I have abandoned her.
